If you are going to ban anything . . . ban the schools.

Yet another school shooting today, the headlines scream; nine, maybe ten people dead. Bombs recovered both at the school and elsewhere.
So. More students died in school this year from student on student violence. Why?
Who really cares why it happens? I’m sure each student killer has a different excuse why they are justified in killing other students, other people. None of their justifications hold merit.
The truth of it is violence isn’t the availability of weapons. The truth of it is the value we put on violence and death.
Look at the movies, the T.V. docudramas, the games, books we read, all repeating the theme of murder. Who are we fooling? Why do we glorify this?
I have a solution. No, it’s not banning guns. That’s not only stupid it doesn’t work, just doesn’t make any sense at all. A murderer at heart will kill with anything available; knives, guns, rocks, bombs, nerve gas, and other, more deadly bioweapons, whatever. Guns are actually pretty low on the list of things that can kill a lot of people quickly. I spent four years in the military. I’m educated. I raised a family of my own and have gone through the angst of teenage years eight times in addition to my own. I’m an author with an imagination. I can destroy worlds. A handful of teenagers? I could do that with pie and ice cream. Shut up! Murder is stinking easy and most thoughtful people will nod and say yep, that’s so.
    So, what is this solution?
    Ban schools.
    What? Are you nuts?
    Nope. Ban schools.
Schools are the place of school violence. They are the breeding place of gangs, bullies, and generate a sort of “gladiator mentality” for both students and teachers. Who is tougher? Who is most popular? Who can we get to do . . . whatever. Who will be the “King and Queen” of the school this year? Who has time for all the petty weirdness that goes on day after day as we devalue some and enthrone others? What sets the school parent off that flies in with a list of “F-bombs” for why their precious . . . whatever and why ever they are offended, proving with their own vernacular that they are themselves toxic, abusive parents? Who educated them?
We cannot keep our kids safe at school because they are the source of most of this violence. How often do the principals get called out on the carpet because of something happening to precious? Over something between two kids deciding that they don’t like the look of the other. Why is it the principal’s fault? Or the teachers? Or the parents? It could be that a few kids just don’t like someone.      What does all our social conditioning tell the students that they should do for instant glory or a permanent fix? Look at the media. Grab a headline and let that be your playbook. Everyone wants to be a victim, a star in their own reality show. Ban the schools.
It’s obvious that we are creating a generation of social monsters capable of mass murder. They are being fostered, nurtured and exploited in public schools. Stop it, stop it now!
Ban the schools. They are too expensive and not at all self-sustaining, a real drag on the tax base and a nuisance for people having to drive anywhere around them. Principals hate them, teachers hate them, and students really hate them. Even parents hate them, except when they are required to babysit their own children and feed them. Ban the schools.
Not the teachers. Not the students. Not the parents. Not the guns. Ban the schools.
For far too long we have allowed these institutions to propagandize our children, regiment them into little cogs with no idea of how to think or work on their own, traumatized by the hint of disapproval, failure or rejection. Ban the school. It isn’t working anyway.
Our school system evolved from a model of collective teaching for a preindustrial age. It was obsolete with the invention of electricity. Ban the schools! We need to rethink what it means to educate a young mind and prepare our children to prosper in an uncertain world with intelligent tools to succeed.
We have light bulbs now. Computers and something called the internet.
We need to re-institutionalize families, not expand the schools.
We need a duel, complimentary set of parents who are committed to raising and EDUCATING their children. Yes, we still need teachers, and measurable standards of education. Goals to ensure our children are reading, writing and able to function with mathematics. We need engineers, scientist, doctors and plumbers, the whole list of occupations.
But we need people who can work with heart. People who can meet the needs of others, but also people who can stand on their feet when needed and say “Enough of this!” and do something about a wrong. It might start with an article. An article bold enough to say, ban the schools!
Ban the schools. Let us rethink the model. Do we need to collect our children to educate them? Can a program teach fundamental principles with a reporting feature that will help a designated teacher to teach areas that the child seems unable to grasp? Perhaps go back to the one roomed schools, located very near the children, and limit the size of the class and the number of hours a kid has to sit there? Gasp! Can they be taught at home?
Or can perhaps the school become reduced in physical size such that a student can spend a day a week learning what must be taught from another human being? Can we recognize the profession of the teacher and pay them accordingly? Can we be much more selective as to who teaches our children? Yes, we can, and we should. Teachers should be respected and respectable.
Can we do away with most of these expensive buses? Relegate sports back to the community and parents, and take that dynamic out of our school budgets? Think of the saving just in insurance alone!
Can we re-institute art, music and dance into our education so that we can remember that we are creatures of higher forms, capable of beautiful creation and expression? Can we teach those things and other skills using wood, metal and plastics in with the biology, geology and physics? As well as principles of manufacturing, tooling and crafting? Can we as parents select these things for our children who express interest, aptitude or desire? Or must we really have so many units of maligned history and social justice that we cannot learn how to cook, cut a board or sew? We must teach our children how to budget and invest, to avoid harmful debt, change a flat tire safely, how to manage an accident, respond to other real life emergencies. We must educate our story tellers, and re-enthrone truthfulness and integrity, manners and polite discussion, even when we ardently disagree. We should teach responsibility and taking consequences and the best way to teach those sorts of things is to live them. Ban the schools.
Ban the schools, re-institute the making of families.
But we have so many one parent families! Why? We institutionalized them by rewarding them instead of penalizing them to live their lives uncomfortably, to not have to rely on their parents for their mistakes. It is not a racial thing, but a spiritual thing and it affects us all or will. We gave unwed mothers all sorts of benefits, and the more children they have, the more comfortably they get. It was a political gimmick to take a bow and tax the population more, with no thought as to where it was going. As a consequence, we have multi-generation of needfulness because we refused to confront it, softened the consequence and thrust generation after generation of illiterate, ‘entitled’ thinking that is eating us alive. Many of these children are troubled, maladjusted, not properly feed, taught or socialized. Single parent families rely on the schools to baby sit and feed their children then become unglued when these kids fall into trouble. Nobody wants to admit that. Why are we rewarding this destructive behavior? I retired from the prison system, having worked there for longer than most murderers have to serve time for. I have seen the underside of our social systems and dealt with the fallout. My mother was a school teacher as was her mother, as were some of my sisters and brother in-laws. I have seen both sides of this argument. My wife works for a school district. I spent a sizable part of my life as a student in a variety of schools and colleges as well as my eight children and now their children. One of my best friends is a principle, as well as was a brother in law. I understand this problem as well as anyone else. It’s a broken model.
We need to re-invent this education system from the ground up laying aside our social engineering, collectivist thinking and reinstall the family as the principle place of learning, and build up on that, else we are done for.
Ban the schools. It is time to start over.

Malaysia Airline flight 370 -- the unspoken fear

The disappearance of this flight appears planned leading me to consider this chilling possibility:
If this was carried out by a State or terrorist organization with State aid, the flight could have gone to any location with the radar data deliberately altered or ignored.  If so, I fear that the passengers would be considered minor inconvenient details, sacrificed to provide a civilian looking instrument of destruction. This plane then could be used (in a similar way as it was diverted) as a (possible nuclear) delivery system, as a substitute for another legitimate flight mid-flight with a surprise ending. Land it in Moscow or Washington or any other point of interest. No one would ever suspect. You wouldn't even have to alter its paint job, no one would see it until it was too late. Forget launching a missile, hijack an airliner.
Bang.
Sorry to give you reason to stare at the ceiling tonight . . .

On being Progressive.

While breakfasting in a hotel earlier this week, I got a dose of CNN as they bemoaned the government shutdown and blamed it wholly on the Republicans and especially the Tea Party candidates, as if by magic the Democrats were saints and the Republicans evil sinners.
Knowledge and information are what form people. We must have accurate information to properly evaluate our decisions. Yet here are ‘news reporters’ voicing their ready-made opinions for us, judging the situation so that in order for us to determine for ourselves we must turn to other sources perhaps also tainted by some agenda, or we must perform our own investigations with resources not readily available to us. We don’t have the time to do this and perform all the other roles that life has given us. This is the danger and power of media. It is also the power of education. With education steeped in political propaganda, information will always be ignored if it fails to meet the agenda. Today’s children are taught not to question Global warming, gay ‘rights’ and are offered revisionist histories designed to inflame racial tensions and don’t forget to throw in some ‘scientific’ realities. Progressive reality.
Prepackaged Spin is the new progressive media.
Forgotten in the CNN reporting were the reasons for this obstructed process. Forgotten was the fact that the vast majority of the people had openly opposed the Affordable Health Care Act that the Democrats forced upon the Nation. The Democratic legislators didn't read the Bill, claiming there was no time, as if the jaws of Hell were going to open up and swallow the nation if they didn't pass it right then.
Why the hurry? The media failed to ask. They didn't need to. They are progressives.
Why would they push such an unpopular law into existence? It was politically stupid. Many that voted for it secretly hoped that the Supreme Court would take the fall and declare it dead in the water. When that didn't happen, then the end game became clear: Blame all subsequent failures onto the Republicans!
But why do it at all? It is because the Democrats are progressives.
Political progressives are only slow socialist. Socialism relies upon capitalism for survival, like a cancer upon a body. Much like cancer, the more aggressive the socialism, the harder it is for the capitalist to survive. If Capitalism dies so also dies incentive, innovation, and opportunity, in other words, Freedom. Socialism relies on the efforts and abilities of the successful to provide for those with none of their own. Take away freedom, and whatever else is left will not spell success, it will only spell disaster. We now know that there are power seekers who exploit failure for ever more power. “Never let a crisis go to waste.” What does that spell? Tyranny.
This emerging tyranny will be more dangerous and pervasive than any other in history. Never before had a tyrant had more information than what our government has available to it now. It has complete access to phone, fax, e-mail, internet usage, medical and financial records, including your age, weight and height. It can monitor your personal and vehicle movement, family and social contacts, photos, work information, housing status, marital status, educational proficiency, religious preference, skills and any other fact that it wants. Instantly, starting with now and going back for years, building a case built upon whatever prejudice they want to produce. Give me several years of your records and I can make whatever you are into whatever I want you to be, using selective editing. It won’t be hard. Then I can come for you. If you are white, I’ll shop a black jury. If you are a Republican, I’ll shop for a partisan Democratic jury. If you are Jewish, I’ll use Muslims; for Catholics, anti-Catholics. Christian Protestants, Atheists. They have already divided us into factions, making it all the easier to ply racial and demographic prejudices into the judicial system.
Once you have been identified as a less desirable character, as defined by the ruling elite, they can seize your property and/or incarcerate you. It is only another baby step for these to end your life or hold hostage the life of your loved ones, or use their new found control to your health access to ensure your cooperation. I am not being wild-eyed alarmist or even cynical.
Slavery is only the next ‘progression.’ What did you think being progressive really meant?

The Hoax, the socialism of America

The American Hoax

The notion of the America Dream in a land where Citizens have basic natural rights protected by Law with a non-partisan system of Justice has been a lie for many years now, and the fiction is growing increasingly thin. The rise of an increasing Federalism is proportional to the rise of the welfare state, started with the introduction of the Social Security Program. This program required a new tax system that increased an ever growing dependent class of citizens, enabled by the generosity of politicians who saw opportunity to seize power from the citizens. Expansions of this program followed accelerating this transition of power from the citizen to the Politician. The successful passage of the ACA continues this social reinvention leads us to a dangerous precipice, an every growing concentration of power and its abuse.
This brings a loss of rights and privacy of the citizen, the loss of sovereignty. Second to this, but no less deadly to the world at large is the spiraling expense that threatens the collapse of the economy due to over spending, redistribution of wealth and effort from citizens, industry, and business, almost all of it going into the black hole of social programs. The percentage of people working for government as opposed to private business has escalated to the point we must wonder who is paying for the salaries, retirements and benefits of Federal, State, County and City employees (as well as School teachers and other occupations supported by the tax dollar). Also, government had been much more transparent and simple. It has now become complicated and murky. An iron ball is more transparent than what we have now and it is not improving.
An arrogant, domesticated press ensures the continuation of this trend.
The Affordable Health Care passage demonstrates this whole problem clearly as the vast majority of citizens opposed it, but had it forced upon them by legislative tyranny. Why these Legislatures were not impeached baffles me. The negative results of this program are only now being seen and will increase over time. The implementing of this program will devastate the health care system as a whole, the damage perhaps impossible to unravel. The loss of privacy of the citizen from government is now absolute. The citizen now stands naked before his government; no secret will be kept as to level of income, race, age, gender, education, income, health parameters, residency, occupation, religious preference. Any indiscretions, physical weaknesses or genetic traits you have will be accessible to be extorted by whatever political force is in power. Recent events demonstrate a willingness of Government to exploit these powers over perceived opposition to their absolute rule. Using the health care excuse, they will tell you what medicine is available for you, what medical devices or interventions will be rationed for you. Basically they have the power of life and death over each citizen. You better be a very good citizen! If they continue down this path (and Bloomberg has already proven it in New York), they will soon regulate portion sizes of consumables, perhaps even what foods you may or may not consume. At some near point, the government may be able to reach into your checking, savings, and retirement accounts and take what it will, your prior knowledge or permission no longer required. The IRS already has some of these powers, are now responsible for the overseeing the Health Care boondoggle and we know they would never abuse their responsibilities!
Never in the history of the world has the power of governmental abuse been more enabled or as far reaching. Technology has made possible a tyranny never imagined before. We must obtain permits for starting a business, a home, and are monitored on income, taxes, and can have our computer usage, phones, and emails spied on, photographed during our movement, what aircraft we travel, what we purchase, goods and services that we utilize, whether we have had the kids inoculated or not and they cannot locate and deport illegals? Really?
The Federal Government through the Common Core Education Program will exactly dictate what your child learns and will propagandize these new minions against their own parents. These children will become the new slaves supporting the tyrant(s) in control. They are being taught what to think and what is politically correct to say. Is it any leap of imagination that they will be told what to do? Their lives will be dictated from cradle to grave. Will the day come when they will be told what parents they belong to, what dwelling they may live in, how many children they can raise (if any) what pets they can or cannot have? Who they must associate with? Already they are being told what they should think, eat, drink and how much of that is acceptable. They are told that parental interference into the child’s private life is ignorable, especially if the child engages in sexual activity. They are being channeled into what is acceptable for recreation and belief, that the environment demands their whole allegiance, that global warming is theirs and their parents fault and that they must support the causes that will correct that. Your input into the forming the character, thought or faith of your child is no longer acceptable and will be discouraged, but in the meanwhile, you must support with your labor these social engineering programs that will render you obsolete and discarded. Your children are becoming the soldiers, technicians, farmers, laborers, servants of political Masters. Some media figures openly view them as property of the State.
A new level of thought control has descended as Orwellian new speech has formalized, first by the news outlets, the education system and down into the work place, to where any man or woman speaking their minds can be charged, incarcerated and (only the next step away), killed for ‘societal justice.’  Verbal and visual filth, disrespect, including disregarding Deity in and by the media is accepted and common place, yet a man using politically incorrect names now becomes a bigot and guilty of a hate crime, which is a special class of offense.
But don’t worry about this, protected political classes will soon cease, because that usefulness will have passed. The new slavery will be universal and those not following strictly in line will be the ones on the ‘out’, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, religion, political affiliation, fame, income level, age, race or level of education.
This is no local problem, for if America fails in defense of Liberty, so goes the world.
We have gone from the American Dream to the American Hoax. Most will call it Hell.

Marriage, Government, and Freedom

Much has already been said about all three topics, but little is understood about the importance of marriage in the traditional sense. Marriage is more than the creation of children, more than the merging of time and interest of spouses, it is a joint responsibility assumed by both parties to become a micro society. It means that both spouses will do all in their power to assume the liabilities of the other as well as contribute toward the new family unit that marriage creates. It is the caring for aged parents, the nurturing of children, the combined effort to manage the finances, cleaning and repair of home, a joining of body and soul to a unified family. Together they seek to protect the family unit from all outside hazards, and when all those needs are satisfied, they benefit the community. Currently, marriage is portrayed in the media to be little more than a blending of selfish interest in entertainment and activity. Marriage is not a springboard to legitimize sex and fun. It is a sharing of responsibilities and struggles on an epic scale with someone you must be able to trust not only with your own life but those of your parents, siblings and offspring. Marriage is more than a simple walk with a lifelong friend. It is the merging of self into a greater whole. This can be the most satisfying experience anyone can have, the mutual love and support of a life time. It can be a heaven on earth.

Marriages can fail. Partners stress out from reality after the chemistry of attraction is insufficient to sustain their interest because a wholesome marriage doing what it is supposed to do is often hard and many people find themselves unable to commit a lifetime with the same person that they were once attracted to. There is no guarantee of success, but it is much easier for the complementary nature of man and woman to adjust to this new role of mutual support and sustaining, it is what nature provided us for. When a spouse is irresponsible and selfish or cheating, trust is lost and harms the whole family and the community at large. Such leads to unhappiness all around. When this cannot be mended, it must be adjusted. It can be a personal hell. At such times it is needful for a neutral outside arbitrator to reconcile or legally sever the family. This is when Government is needed.

Government is intended to protect, to furnish a safe orderly structure for all citizens. It is not a substitute for the family. It is not the father, mother, nor the big brother. It should keep itself out of this debate—it is not a forum for determination of belief, a referee for ideas and social feelings. It is a protector of basic human rights. Some, in their ignorance, consider that marriage, which is the basic social structure of society, a function of government. After all, the government can forbid marriage between nearly related couples; it taxes the union through the costs of a license and accommodates the legal recognition of a family, having once understood the mutual benefits that this relationship brings to the world. Marriage is not a function of government, though government can perform the legal joining, or in failure, a separation of the legally recognized structure of a marriage. It can also perform the legal framework when both parties agree to a ‘civil’ marriage. This involvement became necessary to provide order when the great diversity of faiths or lack of it emerged. Do not slip into the notion that government involvement equates to government sponsorship. Government should not be taking on the role of mothering, nurturing, educating, housing, healing and feeding children. That is what families are responsible to do. Confusion of these roles adds to the burdens to society exponentially, gives license to those who are lazy and irresponsible and discourages those who would fill community or extended family needs during a crisis. Government has for too long stretched its fingers into sacred grounds. When it does so, it takes away the freedoms and responsibilities that others should have found. It undermines the whole community when it intrudes upon the role of the parent. There are of course, exceptions, but that is what they should be: exceptional circumstances, not the norm. These exceptions increase with the increase of government involvement. Some people will always default on responsibilities when given opportunity. If unwed mothers provided for their own children, (without government assistance) there would be far fewer unwed mothers. One only needs to look at the numbers of single parents before welfare programs and then again after welfare programs took affect. A simple cause and effect can be seen. In the early 1950's about 18% of black children were born to unwed mothers. In 2010, the number reached 72.5% (sources: U.S. Census Bureau, National Center for Health Statistics, 2011). Google "unwed Mother" and behold for yourself the numerous and expensive social programs that try and fail to substitute for the father! It cannot be done. To provide what a father should, the government must take away what a father earns. To provide as adequately as a family, it must assume family identity and becomes a twisted parody of a tyrannical parent, for it must determine then what role it must assume and will decree what others will and will not do. It cannot take any role without assuming all the responsibilities. No government has sufficient resources to care for all of its citizens from cradle to grave equally.

When government fully involves itself as parent, citizens will no longer be allowed freedom of self choice.

Those who care little of freedom will endorse government intrusion into these roles, but for those who understand the precious gift of self choice and determination; these things ring alarm bells. As a society, we need to reinstate and rededicate the core of our society: Marriage and Family.

Fast and Furious

Fast and Furious, is the ill fated gun runner program that unraveled publicly, exposed by a few courageous employees, some of who were dismissed for their efforts. This operation is purported to be an intelligence move to expose high level drug leaders. No drug cartels were damaged in this exercise. Instead, it reveals an Administration seeking to create back-lash on firearms use and sales and resulted in arming the most dangerous people on the North American Continent. Whatever their stated intentions, no mature adult would knowingly allow this to happen unless it fulfilled strategic political results, and results of this action are not congruent with the mission of the ATF, the Department of Justice or the intentions of the principles that have founded this country. Whoever was behind the design of this plan is at odds with our legal system and needs to be held accountable for the terror and murder that has resulted from this program. This is a sweeping accusation and requires proof, impeccable logic, or certain knowledge. I offer certain knowledge and logic that anyone can see once they understand administrative restraints and proper investigation will substantiate this.

I will explain:

The ATF is a subordinate organ of the Justice Department. It is a relatively small agency and has in the past been shackled with notable ethics problems; from Ruby Ridge, the Waco Siege and now the Fast and Furious operation— all questionable programs ran under Administrations noted for their lack of moral certitude. These are serious blemishes on an otherwise notable group of law enforcers. The line staff of the ATF has one of the best records of arrests and law enforcement, sporting an impressive record for such a small body that is about 5000 strong. These include Special Agents that are required to have a Top Secret, Sensitive Compartmental Information clearance. The Special Agents comprise just under half of the employee base of the ATF, and must pass extensive training that last beyond than that used by the FBI or US Marshals, lasting about 27 weeks long and the agents are gleaned from the top hopefuls, reported to be about 5% of applicants. Successful picks usually have at least four years law enforcement experience as well as a credible education. These Special Agents are proven professionals, and would not appreciate being manipulated as they have been recently. This must be a waking nightmare for them. The ATF is not, of its own volitions, going to allow for the sale of up to 2500 weapons, such as AK-47s, FN 5.7mm pistols and even .50 caliber rifles to people that they know or highly suspect to be criminals—and not just criminals, but those involved in the most serious cartels of crime that threaten whole governments with their power.  It is contrary to the chartered purpose of existence for the ATF. These are not typical hunting weapons; these are serious anti-personnel weapons, many of which are easily automated. Further; the ATF is not on its own going to allow these sorts of weapons to be sold to people that they know will transport such weapons across an international border and likely trigger an international incident.  To do so would be the very criminal act that they are charged to intercept. No!

This criminal activity was a directed down program. No Bureau Director is going to approve a program contrary to the directives of his organization that might embarrass the Department of Justice that he is subordinate to, that he serves under. No Bureau Director is going to chance an international incident deliberately. This had to have been dictated to him from above. This was not initiated by the ATF.

The Justice Department is the Nation’s top law enforcement body and must, by definition, seek to have a high standard of conduct. Its standards are distilled downwards, to its client agencies. As noble as the body might be, it suffers when the Attorney General seems to be more anxious about political concerns than in evenhanded law enforcement. The Attorney General of the Justice Department is appointed by the President. Because of this, the selective enforcement of law often reflects the goals and agenda of the Administration.

Now, if the Director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is directed to organize an illegal operation, who would be giving him those directions? Only Eric Holder, Attorney General of the Department of Justice. Who else could assume to direct a Bureau Director? No one else would be qualified to do so, would have the executive authority to attempt it. Would project managers be placed to take the fall, ‘just in case?’ Yes, certainly! How else could the principle players cloak or even pretend not to know what they themselves initiated? But anyone who understands Agency responsibility and accountability would see it to be a sham and that no rouge elements are existent in the ATF or the Department of Justice, not on the scale needed to run such an extensive program. Any such operation would require the advance approval of the head of that agency. One involving international law would require extra ordinary approval, so no one is going to convince me that Mr. Holder was not involved in this from the start, and I know he wouldn’t want to be accused of starting a war independently with Mexico, so he had to have had permission from his boss.

Think about it: Would Eric Holder arbitrarily devise such a program? No. Why not? Because he is subordinate and appointed by the President of the United States, and he knows that if he were to create such a program on his own and be found out, the act would be seen immediately as a move to discredit or actively sabotage the President. Holder would be summarily dismissed or even imprisoned if he acted independently. This was done either at the insistence of or with the permission of the President. Nothing else makes sense.

So, what do the facts suggest so far? Only those line staff who publicly protested their involvement in a clearly illegal operation has been censored by dismissal. The Department of Justice is investigating itself to ensure that nothing becomes of this failed operation, turning an investigation into a cover-up. Eric Holder continues to boss the Department of Justice, so he has not acted against the knowledge or intents of the White House. Once again the public is being lulled into believing that there is nothing here. This is an impeachable offense against the People of the United States and should be investigated and prosecuted, by someone independent of the Department of Justice, independent of the White House. If laws have meaning, and continue to have meaning, then decisive action must be taken immediately to prove that no one is above the law; not the ATF, not the Justice Department, not the President of the United States. I urge Congress to step up and act in their role of representing the People, and ensuring that our government is accountable and responsible, or the trust of the Nation will again be lost upon political alters, further eroding the standing and effectiveness of its leaders. Trust lost, so is the Nation, for it will become unmanageable, its political structures revealed as farcical and arbitrary. We elected these people with the hope that they would be responsible with power. Let them also be accountable.

15 April 2011

The Deficit, Increased Taxes and the Blame game.

I admit I’m a difficult person. I don’t follow the (party) lines. I don’t lean more toward being Republican so much as lean away from being a Democrat. Does that make sense? Sure it does! What really fails to make sense is – the way Washington plays the Game.

Strike 1: The way that the Democrats are trying to set up the Republicans for the default on the debt. The Democrats increased the debt load beyond any historical marker and now assert that if the Republicans don’t pass a spending increase, any problems that come along belong to the Republicans.  I find it demeaning.  That sort of blame game didn’t even work in elementary school!

Strike 2: Now that the Government has over spent itself, the players don’t get punished. No! They are going to punish the tax payers by increasing taxes. Thank you, Mr. President, for making that clear. Again, how stupid do they think we are? We need to do roll-call of every living person who has been or is a President, Senator or Representative, and put them on trial for malfeasance.  The one or two who had the courage to stand up and say NO, ought to be rewarded, the other clowns . . . let the court of the people decide. The French revolution was ugly, but if this government fails due to this incompetence, our nation will suffer much worse than the French did during their troubles. The starvation and resulting civil unrest will be catastrophic because this people have never felt true hunger before. When the people get hungry and finally realize just how hard their civil servants abused their trust, I wouldn’t want to have a Washington address. No thank you! I just hope Arizona is far enough away!

Strike 3: Given the budget for Fiscal Year 2011 of 3,834 Billion dollars, with a projected deficit of $1, 267 Billion the 35 billion ‘savings’ on the budget compromise is about three hundred billion dollars short of being meaningful and as you can see, we are spending about twice as much as we can afford. We are supposed to be impressed by this? I want a refund, this is not entertaining, this is disgusting!

Time to restore our Federal Government back to its Constitutional role, start rolling back these social programs, military miss adventures, ending Departments that are not legally declared by our founding documents, and end our relationship with the international bankers who own the Federal Reserve. Oh, and the political parties? They both betrayed the public trust for political purposes. OUT!
